![]() ![]() ![]() Jegathesan has published articles and essays in Anthropological Quarterly, Anthropology News, Dialectical Anthropology, and SAMAJ: South Asia Multidisciplinary Journal, Feminist Anthropology, and Cultural Anthropology and is co-Associate Editor of The Anthropology of Work Review. ![]() She holds positions in the American Institute of Sri Lankan Studies (AISLS) and the Society of the Anthropology of Work.ĭr. ![]() Jegathesan has conducted ethnographic projects on labor aspiration and postwar agro-economic transitions across formal and informal sectors in Sri Lanka and also works with undergraduate students to study work, space, and consumption in Silicon Valley. She was teaching Anthropology and research methods at Georgetown University and The College of William and Mary before joining Santa Clara University in 2014. She earned her Masters in Cultural Anthropology in 2005 and her doctorate in Anthropology from Columbia University in New York in 2013. She graduated from Georgetown University in 2003 with a Bachelors of Arts in Classics and Anthropology. Mythri Jegathesan is a cultural anthropologist and Associate Professor at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, CA. ![]()
